ABOUT THE CLUB:   THE KIWANIS CLUB OF FAYETTE COUNTY WAS FOUNDED IN 1953 AND IS A BRANCH OF THE KIWANIS INTERNATIONAL CLUB, WHICH HAS MEMBERS IN OVER 80 COUNTRIES. THE KIWANIS FAMILY OF CLUBS INCLUDE:  CIRCLE K INTERNATIONAL FOR UNIVERSITY STUDENTS  KEY CLUB FOR STUDENTS AGE 14 – 18  BUILDERS CLUB FOR STUDENTS AGE 11-14  KIWANIS KIDS FOR STUDENTS IN GRADES 6 – 12  AKTION CLUB FOR ADULTS LIVING WITH DISABILITIES     TOGETHER, THESE CLUBS HAVE DEDICATED MORE THAN 18 MILLION HOURS OF SERVICE TO STRENGTHEN THEIR SURROUNDING COMMUNITIES.  THE KIWANIS CLUB OF FAYETTE COUNTY IS A 501C4 NON-PROFIT CLUB.  EACH YEAR THE CLUB DONATES FUNDS TO ORGANIZATIONS SUCH AS LOCAL SCHOOLS, SENIOR SERVICE FACILITIES, THE HOSPITAL, ST. VINCENT DE PAUL SOCIETY, AND MANY MORE.  OUR PRINCIPAL FUNDRAISER IS OUR ANNUAL CRAFT BEER FESTIVAL.
